The Hautes Côtes de Beaune : for nature lovers
Meloisey is locates in the heart of Hautes Côtes de Beaune. If the vines are part of the landscape, polyculture is legion, which offers us an incredible diversity of landscapes. Part of Meloisey is also classified Natura 2000
Hikers will be in a paradise here: the Michel Dauteloup trail, which starts in the heart of the village, evolves all around Meloisey and allows the discovery of almost all our treasures! The Gr7 also passes nearby, which makes it an essential stopover.
Discover the villages, towns and vineyards
Explore beautiful villages within a few kilometres of Marie Calou, such as Meursault, Pommard, Volnay, Santenay, etc.
And then there is Beaune, a place not to be missed. Famous throughout the world, it does not owe its reputation to its wines alone: Discover the famous Hôtel Dieu, the Wine museum, take a walk down its typical streets and alleys, go round the ramparts and visit the different cellars with prestigious names.
The Côte d'Or is filled with places to see and explore. It offers magnificent landscapes and an incredibly rich heritage!
Combine sport and discovery
The many sign-posted hiking and mountain-bike trails offer a superb opportunity to discover the region. There are 26 hiking loops in Beaune and its surrounding region. Furthermore, the GR7 footpath passes through Meloisey.
By bike, you can take the bicycle trail through the Côte de Beaune vineyards: from Beaune to Santenay. You will also find several Greenways close by.
